A More Prosperous Zambia Through Orphan Care
According to Terry Miller and Anthony B. Kims (2016 INDEX OF ECONOMIC FREEDOM, Heritage Foundation), in the year 2014 the average per capita income in Zambia was just over $4,000. This puts the country at the lower end of the low middle category of nations in the world. In other words, it is not among the very poorest countries, but just above the poorest.
As you help us care for orphans through the Zambian Mission Project you have the opportunity not only to put clothes on the backs of orphans, a roof over their head, and food in their stomachs, you can help them flourish physically and spiritually as they learn about Jesus Christ and as they develop skills that will serve them long-term in supporting themselves and their family someday. And, who knows? Maybe some of these orphans will spread what they learn to others and start a movement of this flourishing among many in their generation and generations to come!
