School Uniforms

Just this past week, our Zambian team was able to purchase and distribute school uniforms, shoes and food to needy children from our ZMP Community Care Center’s community thanks to your generous support. I am happy to be able to share some photos along with the direct testimony from 3 of the ZMP-Zambia board members regarding the event.

Sandwell Zgambo “Pastor Dickinson and Rev. Isaac bought the uniforms and shoes for children. The money was enough to buy school shoes and uniforms due good current currency exchange rate. About 18 to 20 children were blessed with the uniforms and shoes. This was an important step taken in order to help the less privileged and vulnerable children especially now that schools are opening on Monday. Half of these children have never had someone buy them a shoe or uniform. I am reminded of my own story. Can you believe that I was 15 years old when I received my first pair of shoes. Life can be extremely difficult without your biological parents around. What some take for granted others are dying to have a taste of.”

Isaac Muswala – “We had a great experience this weekend, sharing of gifts to the children and eating together with them and their guardians. This helped the people to understand our preaching of God’s love and our love very well. People where able to see that God loves them for sure and we love them too and that they should continue loving one another. Even though they are orphans there’s a father who cares for them. I was able to see smiles on the faces of the children. Many people followed me to ask if in the future we can open the church where the gospel will be preached every Sunday.

Dickson Muchulu“First, l would like to thank Reverend lsaac and Pastor Sandwell for sharing. I would also like to share about how everything went on Saturday 30th, January, 2021. On this blessed day, Reverend lsaac Muswala and Pastor Dickson Muchulu went to the Orphanage Center with the blessings/donations of our prospective orphans. We arrived safely, the Guardians and the Children received us with songs of praise and joy of the Heart. After Opening prayer, Reverend lsaac Muswala shared a devotion from the book of 1 John 4:7-11″Love comes from God, because God is love, so you ought to love one another. Thereafter, we made the donations of school uniforms and school shoes to our 20 prospective orphaned Children.
The Guardians on behalf of the children were so thankful and appreciative to the Zambia Mission Project donations and support they received. The Headman and his wife also thanked the Zambia Mission Project for the donations and support on behalf of the Guardians and the children.
God Bless !!!”

Two New ZMP Videos

In this short post, we’d like to present two new videos:

  • The first is a 7 min video that gives an introduction to Zambian Mission Project which discusses our history, vision and plans.
  • The second is an update of what ZMP has accomplished with your generous support in the past 4 years. This video includes a short musical introduction of a song performed by some of our Zambian friends from Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lusaka, Zambia.

Please, remember to support our pledge drive to raise support for the caretaking and further development of our ZMP Orphan Care Center.

Message of Comfort from Zambia

I praise the Lord who gives us Hope beyond this life. Coronavirus is spreading in Zambia, we have a total of 45 cases and two deaths. Our Government has put in place good measure to help the people stay safe.  Public School,Church gatherings and any large gatherings are not allowed.  There is a lot of uncertainty and fear because the country do not have enough resources to combat the virus if numbers continue to increase. We are praying and trusting God to intervene during this crisis.

My family is doing well and all our board members are doing fine. Please know that we always praying for you, especially during this difficulty moment. I have seen the updates from the CDC which shows huge numbers of people dying in the USA. Again we grieve with you for the loss of the brothers and sisters in your country.  There is no better place to find our comfort than the word of God. I have attached the video which  i would you to share to the congregation to encourage them. I am reminded that this world is not our home.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are protected by the power of God through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ; and though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.”(  1 Peter 1:3-9)

Always grateful to God!
